Brief: To give potential clients the chance to appreciate the magnificent facilities available inside the Club's new Main Stand, and get a true feeling for these spaces, adding something unique and different to still photographs or traditional video. The Club is rightly proud of their corporate facilities and wanted to be able to showcase these on a global scale, to attract event organisers and fans alike, allowing them to appreciate the various venues available.
Details: After discussions with Liverpool FC's hospitality and marketing staff we arranged to carry out our 3D scanning throughout the entire main stand, which contained 8 suites and a concourse. The events team at the Club were also highly involved in the process, ensuring that a schedule could be drawn up for rooms being presented in various setups to appeal to a wide range of potential online visitors. Our staff carried out scanning on 2 separate days, working in two teams to move through the venues efficiently and without disruption to the Club's day to day operations.
Feedback: Our virtual tours of the lounges at Liverpool FC have given the Club a global reach as they look to promote their high end spaces to corporate clients, fans after a memorable match day experience, conference organisers and many more. The Club have been so delighted by the quality and effectiveness of our work that they are now looking at using the same technology to create digital fan tours around the Stadium, and when the new megastore has been constructed we will also be working with them to produce one of the World's first truly virtual shopping experiences at a sporting institution!
